Accomplishments

• WCGCC was featured at the 19th Annual Chronic Disease and Prevention Conference on March 1st, 2005 in Atlanta, GA.
• Initiated the Morehouse Prostate Co-op, a service that screened over 800 minority men in the state of Georgia who had never previously been screened.
• The WCGCC is a major participant in the Columbus Men and Women’s Health Expo
• WCGCC provided professional education opportunities for health care providers in the region and state.
• The WCGCC in collaboration with Three Rivers AHEC developed the Careers in Oncology: Endless Possibilities in Cancer Prevention and Treatment module CD.
